Our terminal turned into the coolest classroom this Tuesday for Bring Your Kid to Work Day!
Young guests explored the airport from the inside out with an exciting Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) tour hosted by the New Orleans Fire Department, a terminal tour and presentation led by the New Orleans Aviation Board team, and a special up-close look at a United Airlines aircraft.
We're grateful to everyone who helped make this day so special. It's an honor to introduce the next generation to the world of aviation we’re so passionate about. 💙✈️

Just hoping this doesn’t siphon off demand to/from Fort Myers, FL on Breeze service. Glad we finally have nonstop to RSW and would like to see that route mature at least seasonally. Loads appear to be in the 70% - 80% range.
I fly a lot i landed in new Orleans at 12 noon today 8/3 southwest airlines I'm sitting in the back of the plane . i had a brief restroom stop on my way to the baggage claim . I get there and all the remaining bags are standing against a wall. i walk up to a lady thats tagging bags i say hello im here to get my bag as I pointed to it. she points to a lady standing in the area she said ask that lady right there. so I say hello im here to get my bag as I pointed to it . this lady looks at me with this nasty look and says get your bag but she said it so nasty it was ridiculous. as she said it she look at me like get out my face pretty much. why are these workers so nasty these days? her attitude was so nasty I wanted to take a pic of her but I just left disgusted. you dont treat customers like that so disrespectful. black lady looked about in her mid to late 40s had a lot of puffy looking hair round sort of
